Reducing barriers to sport for our Youth
What it is
Runmore with Ranmore is a pre-loved sports shoe collection drive operating in South Africa and the UK. We make it easy for sports people to recycle their footwear, giving them a second life on the feet of someone who couldn't afford a pair.
How it works
Runmore With Ranmore Collection Bins are placed at partner sports clubs, schools and events, encouraging participants to ‘pay-it-forward’ by donating old trainers and soccer boots they no longer need. We collect all the shoes and take them to our partners at the Ocean View Centre for the Handicapped, where the shoes are cleaned and sorted. Our team then distribute the shoes free-of-charge to under-resourced individuals, sports clubs and NPO’s that are in need of shoes for their players.
