Simanyene Residential Home & Adult Learning Centre

Simanyene Residential home is a Non-Profit Organization (NPO) Reg. No. 212-991. The resident started its construction in 2018, they are located in Broadlands Village, Strand. Its mission is to help the mentally and physically disabled youth in Nomzano Township.

They had noticed that many disabled children and young adults were not cared for properly in their homes. The Simanyene day center was only partially helping with this problem. There are 12 residents at home between the ages of 10-29. The Simanyene resident follows all the directives and rules put in place by the Western Cape Health Department.

This charity has achieved a 10 Star rating on the Helpmore Trust Index, meeting 10 out of 10 trust criteria, including NPO registration, financial transparency, and independent governance.
