Simanyene Centre for the Disabled

Simanyene Center for the Disabled opened in 2012 and is located in the township of Nomzamo. We are an NPO 158-330 and are registered with the Western Cape Department of Health – certificate number 140. We are a PBO and approved for purposes of SECTION 18A for donations. Our Mission is to glorify God by supporting children and young adults with physical and intellectual disabilities.

The Center is a ministry of Simanyene Bible Church and it is our goal to help each individual reach their full God-given potential. We believe that each one counts and can learn at his or her own ability. Simanyene Center is designed so that each person can continue to learn and grow physically, mentally and spiritually. Our desire is to provide compassionate care and have an environment where children and young disabled adults can learn new skills and be taught the Word of God each day.

This charity has achieved a 10 Star rating on the Helpmore Trust Index, meeting 10 out of 10 trust criteria, including NPO registration, financial transparency, and independent governance.
